Our School Dogs

Welcome to Zog & Pumpkin, our school dogs. 

In July 2021, we welcomed Zog to the Ibstone Family. Zog is a very special member of the Ibstone Family, he meets and greets everyone on the gate in the mornings. He loves to spend time in the classrooms, the library and the office. He is brilliant at helping everyone when they need someone to talk to or need a cuddle. 

In June 2025, Pumpkin (Zog's nephew) joined the Ibstone Family.

Zog & Pumpkin are Mrs Long's dogs, they are Fox Red Labradors and were bred by one of Mrs Long's friends. Both Zog and Pumpkin were specially chosen to be our school dogs and they have such a positive impact on school life. 

They greet everyone in the morning during Rolling Drop Off, wander around the classrooms to say hello to everyone and are there to have a chat to if needed! They both have certificates they present during our celebration Worship on a Friday. 

When they are not in the classrooms they can be found chilling out in the office, hall or library!
